Ok so my birthday is coming up and I’m thinkin about getting split second because I have no racing games, could you recommend some good PS3 games for me? I want something with action, epic moments, and some humor such as uncharted 1 and 2.

I like Little Big Planet, which is at times funny and definitely epic. You traverse levels and go through story mode, eventually unlocking an area where you can play games created by other users!
I would suggest Guitar Hero 5 but, I mean come on I’m sure you’ve heard of that one
Also, a little known game named Oblivion which is very involving and incredibly epic. I has action and is entertaining.
I would also add a Rachet and Clank game because they are entertaining and have action and really showcase the PS3′s HD power!
Red dead redemption just came out. I just beat it and I can easily say it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played (if not THE best). It has an amazing story, good action and lots of gameplay (it’s made by the same people who made gta4).

Lol oblivion is not little known, it’s one of the best rpgs of all time. You should definitely get olivion goty edition and fallout 3 goty edition on top of red dead redemption.

i have never played any game on ps3 but i can tell you.
Farcry 2:It is amazing adventurous first person war type game.It has a nice story.Amazing graphics.
Crysis:This is also from one of my favorite games.This game is war type first person.this story is consist of two games “Crysis”and “Crysis warhead”.
Call Of Duty:this is the most amazing war game i ever played.There are many games in this series.You play “Call of duty moder warfare and call of duty modern warfare 2″.There is only one story in between these two games.
Splinter Cell:My favorite silent game.This is amazing.Play “splinter cell double agent” and “splinter cell conviction”
Fear:If you like horror games.this one is really good .There are two games in this series “fear1 and 2″
Dead Space:This one is also and horror game but it really interesting.And it is 3rd person shooting game.
Battlefield badcompany 2: First person war game.Like call of duty.
Assassins creed:Two games are in this series.(Assassins creed 1 and 2)

Crysis2:This game will beat every game and will be the best.Check out the trailer on youtube.This game is said to be released in 2011.
Dead Space2:This is a prequel to dead space 1 and is gonna be released in 2011.
Call of duty black ops is under progress and is gonna be release in end of 2010.
Assassins creed blood lines: is announced.

For action games, you can’t go wrong with Uncharted 1 and 2, preferably 2 if you can only get one. As for epic moments, I figured that by epic moments, you meant rpgs. In terms of rpgs, I recommend Final Fantasy XIII. It’s probably the best rpg I’ve ever played (and I’ve played alot of rpgs. alot!) Also, I recommend Metal Gear Solid 4, and Little Big Planet, though Little Big Planet is supposed to come out this winter so if you can wait… Good luck and happy buying
I would definitely recommend Red Dead Redemption.
ModNation Racers sounds fairly interesting and all, but RDR, a three year long project, is an absolutely fantastic game. The locales are gorgeously rendered, the shooting mechanics are innovative, the voice acting is superb, and the graphics are top-notch.
There are over 200 random events that are bound to happen during the game, anything from an outlaw running from lawmen in the wild, to a prostitute being harassed by an unsatisfied customer. You have the choice to do what you will, anything from being the white knight and turning in the unsatisfied customer to the Marshall by tying him with your lasso, or acting like an anti-hero figure and killing the customer to protect the woman, or play the bad guy and harass the woman along with the man, even killing both of them, or you can just walk along ignoring the situation.
I only gave an example for ONE random situation, there are no limit to the possibilities, anything from tying up the man and dragging him through the desert on your horse, to shooting his kneecaps and throwing him in front of an incoming train.
Activies vary from poker, liar’s dice, horseshoes, bank robberies, train robberies, treasure hunting, odd jobs for townsfolk, and much more.
Not only is the singleplayer astoundingly fun, the multiplayer packs a punch too. There is a Free Roam mode (you can travel the single player mode with your friends), Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Bag (like capture the flag). Various other modes have not been released.
Two episodes of DLC have already been promised, one of which is released in June and includes 6 new missions for online play with your friends.
This game will not only immerse you, it will shove you into the story and make you never want to come up for air.
Metacritic (which averages out all the reviews of reviewers) gave Red Dead Redemption a 9.6, the second highest rating of any game of all time.
So yes, I would definitely recommend Red Dead Redemption.
