After you format an external hard drive for your ps3, can you save games on it, of only media. I am buying a ps3 and the 120gb is the only one I can afford for now, but I want more space than than that.

do you have a 300 dollar blue ray reader for PC? Do you have a 2 terabyte hdd, those games are 30+ GBs each. Are you willing to hack it? Only games you can have on a hdd otherwise is one from the PS3 store, on the internal.
I don’t know, probably. That would be a good thing to test. Also, 120GB is more than enough. I’m using a 80GB, and I have 8 games installed. I still have 60GB left.
